Job Description
Medica develops and manufactures affordable clinical analyzers and other products for the diagnostic laboratory and point-of-care settings. The company’s unique approach to design results in analyzers that are accurate, easy-to-use and maintain, and are ideally suited for the low volume in-vitro diagnostic testing market. Under general supervision, this individual is responsible for order processing, preparing detailed documents and handling Customer issues in a timely manner, for Domestic and International Dealers/Customers. Effectively communicate with Customers, Sales team, and various internal departments.
Essential Primary Functions
- Performs detailed Order Entry/Acknowledgement processing
- Performs screenings for all exports (Dealers/ Customers and Forwarders), for compliance with U.S. Export Regulations
- Prepares Export documents (commercial invoices, proforma invoices, etc..)
- Communicates with various internal Departments (Planning, Shipping, Sales, etc.) on a daily basis
- Communicates via phone and email with Domestic /International Customers and supporting Sales Reps both internally and in the field
- Enters/ creates new Customer accounts in Medica’s ERP and CRM.
- Maintains and updates Customer account maintenance
- Provides pricing and basic product information to Dealers/ Customers
- Tracks Shipments
- Researches Customer Inquiries/ Complaints or any other Customer issues
- Processes Returns and Warranty orders
- Processes credit requests and forwards to Finance
- Prepares final documents (packing list, export docs, purchase order, freight quote, etc.) and forwards to Finance for invoicing
- Attends or participates in meetings and or conference calls as requested
- Assists with other duties or projects as assigned by the Customer Service Manager
Experience:
- Must be detail-oriented and an effective multitasker
- Customer-focused with good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Export Compliance and Export Documents
- Intermediate level of expertise using Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- 2 + years of Customer Service experience (International/ Bilingual a plus.
